Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities. You will manage relationships with project leaders, guide engineers, and ensure schedules and goals are met while developing staff and upholding company values.

Ideal candidates have a CCP certification or equivalent, 10+ years in cost-related roles, and strong skills in data analysis, reporting and scope change management. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in cost engineering or project controls.
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Knowledge of cost recording, reporting, and analysis standards.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for project work.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost recording, reporting, and analysis standards.
• Prepare cost data for projects, proposals, and negotiations.
• Assist with scope change management.
• Coordinate data to conform to the estimate plan.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and apply unit rates.
• Prepare budgets and coordinate cost reports.
• Collect and classify cost data for projects.
• Perform data analysis and develop insights.
• Support project manager and supervise staff as needed.
