Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities on complex projects. You will manage project schedules, support staff development, and coordinate with engineering leaders to ensure accurate costs and timely reporting.

Role requires a strong background in cost engineering, CCP certification, and extensive experience in the construction industry. Willingness to travel up to 25% and work in an office setting is expected.

Qualifications

• US Citizen required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) from AACE International or similar certification.
• Strong knowledge of cost engineering, scope change management, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost recording, reporting, and analysis standards.
• Prepare cost data for projects, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Assist with scope change management.
• Coordinate data to conform to the estimate preparation plan with Engineering.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and verify quantities from others.
• Apply unit rates to quantities and develop costs for disciplines.
• Prepare budgets per standards and procedures.
• Coordinate cost reports and collect cost data.
• Perform data analysis and develop findings.
• Support Project Manager and team to meet project goals.
