Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis and control activities on major projects. You will guide discipline groups, support project schedules, and mentor staff while upholding the company's mission and values.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, 10+ years of experience, and a Certified Cost Professional credential. Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

Must be a US citizen.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience.
Certified Cost Professional (CCP/CEP/CPE) from AACE International.
Knowledge of capital cost and services cost.
Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint; strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Assists in developing and implementing requirements for cost recording, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs, and reports.
Assists in preparing cost data for projects, proposals and contract negotiations.
Assist with scope change management.
Determines scope definition requirements for a discipline and coordinates data to conform to the estimate plan.
Develops quantity takeoffs for a discipline using defined documents and verifies quantities.
Develops and applies unit rates to quantities and developed quantities.
Prepares budgets and cost reports.
Collects and classifies cost engineering data.
Performs data analysis and development.
Performs other duties as directed by the Project Manager / Supervisor / Manager
