Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities on complex projects. The role focuses on maintaining project schedules, reports, and data integrity while guiding other staff and interfacing with engineering discipline leaders and engineers.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management with 10+ years of industry experience and a CCP certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• US citizen required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 10+ years of experience.
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or similar certification required.
• Knowledge of capital cost and services cost.
• Knowledge of scope change management.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement requirements for cost recording, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs, and reports.
• Prepare cost data for projects, proposals and contract negotiations.
• Assist with scope change management.
• Determine scope definition requirements with Engineering and coordinate data for estimate preparation.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and verify quantities.
• Develop and apply unit rates to quantities.
• Prepare budgets and cost reports.
• Collect and classify cost engineering data.
• Perform data analysis and development.
• Support Project Manager / Supervisor / Manager as directed.
