Job summary

Acuity International seeks a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities, ensuring project schedules and goals are met. You will interact with engineers and discipline leaders, drive cost data accuracy, and mentor staff.

Responsibilities include developing budgets, preparing cost reports, and coordinating scope changes. Travel up to 25% may be required; strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in cost engineering or project controls.
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Knowledge of cost recording, reporting, and analysis processes.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost recording, reporting, and analysis standards and reports.
• Prepare cost data for projects, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Assist with scope change management.
• Coordinate data with engineering and other disciplines to support estimates.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and apply unit rates to estimates.
• Prepare budgets and coordinate cost reports.
• Collect and classify cost data; perform data analysis.
• Support project manager and leadership; contribute to project goals.
