Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities within project teams. You will maintain schedules, develop cost data, and support professional development of staff while aligning with the company’s mission and values.

The role requires collaboration with engineers and discipline leaders, oversight of budgets and cost reports, and the ability to travel up to 25% to ensure project goals are met.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 10+ years of experience.
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or similar certification required.
• Knowledge of capital and services cost.
• Knowledge of scope change management.
• Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction systems, and startup processes.
• Proficiency with multiple discipline-specific software applications.
• Experience with financial reporting systems and project controllers.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing requirements for cost recording, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs, and reports.
• Assist in preparing cost data for projects, proposals and contract negotiations.
• Assist with scope change management.
• Coordinate data to conform to the overall estimate preparation plan.
• Develops quantity takeoffs and applies unit rates.
• Prepares budgets and cost reports.
• Collects and classifies cost engineering data.
• Performs data analysis and development.
• Support Project Manager / Supervisor / Manager as directed.
