Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis and control activities, and to guide project personnel toward schedule goals. The role emphasizes integrity, technical direction, and collaboration with engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

You will develop budgets, cost reports and data analyses, support proposals and negotiations, and mentor junior staff while upholding the company's mission and values. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a US citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) certification from AACE International or equivalent.
• Knowledge of cost engineering, capital and services cost, and budgeting processes.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops cost estimates, analyses, and control mechanisms.
• Leads quality control reviews and maintains relationships with project personnel.
• Develops budgets, cost reports, and data analyses.
• Coordinates scope changes and aligns data with the estimate plan.
• Mentors junior staff and supports professional development.
• Ensures adherence to project schedules and captures earned value data.
