Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities across projects. You will maintain project schedules, coordinate with discipline leaders and engineers, and provide direction to assigned staff while upholding the company's mission and values.

The role involves developing cost data for proposals, budgets, and reports, applying unit rates, and performing data analysis to support informed decisions.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 10+ years of experience.
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) certification or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of cost accounting, scope change management, and project controls.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint for executing work processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing cost recording, reporting standards and analyses.
• Prepare cost data for projects, proposals and contract negotiations.
• Assist with scope change management.
• Coordinate data with Engineering to conform to the estimate plan.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and apply unit rates.
• Prepare budgets and cost reports.
• Collect cost engineering data and perform data analysis.
• Support Project Manager and staff as directed.
