Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager, Preconstruction, to lead Testing & Commissioning for PV, BESS, and HV from BD through LNTP. You will own estimates, scope, schedules, and exhibits, coordinating with Preconstruction, Engineering, SCADA, and external clients to deliver a unified commissioning package.

This role can be fully remote or hybrid, with regular in-office presence in the San Diego, CA Office. Travel and site coordination may be required as projects advance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive commissioning experience on utility-scale projects.
• Experience reviewing EPC contracts, commissioning exhibits and specs.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver commitments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Own the commissioning workstream from BD through LNTP and contract execution.
• Integrate commissioning scope, estimates, schedules, and deliverables.
• Lead development and presentation of SOLV’s commissioning requirements to clients.
• Coordinate with Preconstruction, Engineering, SCADA, and field teams.
• Maintain a commissioning requirements register and manage risk reviews.
