SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager, Preconstruction to lead Testing & Commissioning for PV, BESS, and HV projects from BD through LNTP.

You will manage estimates, scope, and schedules, coordinating with Preconstruction, Engineering, and Contracts to align on commitments and transfer a unified commissioning package to Operations. The role offers remote or hybrid work with regular in-office presence in the San Diego, CA office.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of progressive experience in commissioning utility-scale projects.
• Experience reviewing EPC contracts, commissioning exhibits, and acceptance requirements.
• Proven ability to develop commissioning estimates, schedules, and plans.
• Strong understanding of PV, BESS, HV, and SCADA interfaces.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive timely decisions.
• Experience in EPC preconstruction, proposal development, or commissioning contract administration preferred.

Responsabilités

• Own the commissioning workstream from BD through LNTP, coordinating inputs across technical, commercial, and planning teams.
• Integrate commissioning scope, estimates, schedules, and deliverables into project development and planning.
• Lead EPC contract reviews focused on commissioning requirements and vendor scopes.
• Develop and present SOLV’s standard commissioning requirements to clients and align expectations.
• Maintain a commissioning requirements register with due dates and evidence of completion.
• Write, review, and maintain project-specific commissioning plans and DOR during BD and LNTP.
