Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks a Senior Commissioning Manager, Preconstruction, to lead Testing & Commissioning activities for PV, BESS, and HV from BD through LNTP. This role can be fully remote or hybrid, with regular in-office presence in the San Diego, CA Office.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive commissioning experience on utility-scale projects.
• Experience reviewing EPC contracts, commissioning exhibits, specifications, and acceptance requirements.
• Proven experience developing commissioning estimates, schedules, and plans.
• Strong understanding of PV, BESS, HV, and SCADA commissioning interfaces.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Own the commissioning workstream from BD through LNTP and coordinate inputs.
• Partner with Preconstruction, SCADA, Performance Engineering, PV, HV and BESS SMEs to integrate scope and schedules.
• Represent T&Cx during EPC contract reviews focusing on exhibits and owner requirements.
• Lead development of commissioning plans, estimates, and milestone logic.
• Ensure plans align with contract terms and technical standards; handoff to CPM/Operations.
