Job summary

Travelers Insurance in the United States seeks an Account Executive Officer (AEO), Technology. You will partner with agents and brokers to provide coverage for new and renewal business, assessing complex risk and building profitable accounts with strong internal and external relationships.

The role requires 6–8 years of underwriting in commercial lines, CPCU is valued, and willingness to travel for meetings with partners to grow the book of business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Six to eight years of underwriting experience in commercial lines.
• Deep knowledge of commercial lines products, regulatory environment, and local market.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with agents and brokers.
• CPCU designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal partners to create sales plans and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Foster and maintain relationships with external partners by meeting with agents and brokers to market Travelers products; travel as required.
• Identify and capture new business opportunities using consultative marketing and sales skills.
• Develop agency sales plans with MD guidance and support less experienced Account Executives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
