Job summary

Travelers is seeking an Account Executive Officer (AEO), Technology in Georgia to partner with agents and brokers, supplying coverage for new and renewal business. You will assess complex risk, build relationships, and drive profitability in challenging markets.

The role requires extensive underwriting experience in commercial lines, strong communication skills, and a CPCU designation. Travel to meetings and coordinate with MD to develop regional sales plans are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent.
• Six to eight years of underwriting experience in commercial lines.
• Deep knowledge of commercial lines products and local market.
• Strong critical thinking and timely decision-making in risk scenarios.
• Excellent negotiation and communication with agents/brokers.

Responsibilities

• Manage profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Cultivate relationships with internal partners to create sales plans and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Meet with external partners in person to market and sell Travelers’ products and write/retain accounts.
• Develop and execute agency sales plans with MD support.
• Assist in training and mentoring less experienced Account Executives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
