Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking an Account Executive Officer (AEO), Technology to partner with agents and brokers, providing coverage for new and renewal business. This role is a technical resource, capable of independently assessing complex risk and selling our products in challenging markets.

The position requires travel to meet with agents and brokers, and demands the ability to develop agency sales plans with the Managing Director to grow profitability while maintaining risk

Qualifications

• Underwriting and marketing knowledge to assess risk and sell coverage.
• Ability to build relationships with agents and brokers to drive sales.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Manage profitability, growth, and retention of a book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Develop and execute agency sales plans with MD and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Meet with agents/brokers to market Travelers products and write accounts.
• Identify and capture new business opportunities using consultative sales skills.
• Travel as required to meet with partners and grow market presence.
