The ideal candidate will have 6–8 years of underwriting experience, CPCU designation, and strong negotiation skills, with willingness to travel to meet clients and grow market share.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 6–8 years of underwriting experience in commercial lines.
• Deep knowledge of commercial lines products and local market.
• CPCU designation valued.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate complex accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Cultivate relationships with internal partners to develop sales plans and cross-selling opportunities.
• Meet with agents/brokers in person to market and sell Travelers products; travel as needed.
• Develop agency sales plans with Managing Director to drive regional growth.
