Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer specializing in CICS to deliver premium support for z/OS environments. The role covers installation, maintenance, and optimization of CICS TS and OEM products, with on-call duties across multiple time zones.

You’ll join a client-facing team that works remotely most of the time, with opportunities to collaborate on migrations, DR planning, and continuous improvement of mainframe services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of experience on the zSeries (mainframe) platform with hands-on install/maintenance of CICS TS and related OEM products.
• Thorough knowledge of CICS TS concepts, configuration and tailoring; experience with IBM SMP/E.

Responsibilities

• Provide premium support for CICS TS and related OEM products.
• Handle 24x7x365 support across multiple time zones.
• Install OEM software products per Ensono standards and best practices.
• Assist in migrations and disaster recovery tasks for customer environments.
