Ensono is seeking a Senior CICS Mainframe Systems Programmer to provide premium support for CICS TS on z/OS in a remote United States setting. The role covers customer migrations, disaster recovery coordination, and ITSM change control.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years on the zSeries platform, strong CICS TS knowledge, SMP/E experience, and excellent communication skills to work both independently and in teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years on the zSeries mainframe platform with hands-on CICS TS and OEM product support.
• Strong knowledge of CICS TS, IBM SMP/E, and related OEM products.
• Proficient in CICS TS configuration and tailoring.
• Experience with monitoring CICS TS regions and related tools.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentations).
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Team player and able to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Process CSOs for mainframe z/OS customers related to CICS TS.
• Provide primary support for CICS TS issues and OEM products.
• Provide 24x7x365 support across multiple time zones.
• Install OEM software and follow Ensono standards.
• Prepare customer partitions for OS upgrades using checklists.
• Support customer migrations for CICS TS products.
• Assist project manager in migrating new customers.
• Coordinate disaster recovery tasks with DR services.
• Adhere to schedules and manage resources efficiently.
• Follow ITSM change control procedures.
• Implement vendor product fixes and upgrades for z/OS.
