Job summary

Ensono is seeking an experienced mainframe CICS support professional to deliver premium services to its z/OS clients. The role involves handling CSOs, troubleshooting CICS TS and OEM products, and providing 24/7 support across time zones.

Ideal candidates have a strong mainframe background, IBM SMP/E experience, and the ability to work independently or in a team. The position includes on-call duties and potential travel for migrations and DR coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years experience on the zSeries (mainframe) platform including hands on technical experience related to CICS TS and OEM product support.
• Thorough working knowledge of CICS TS concepts, configuration and tailoring.
• Thorough working knowledge of IBM’s SMP/E.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of CICS TS concepts, configuration and tailoring.
• Experience with monitoring CICS TS regions.

Responsibilities

• Provide premium software support and services to Ensono mainframe clients relating to CICS TS and OEM products.
• Offer 24x7x365 support across multiple time zones.
• Follow best practices and Ensono standards for installing OEM software.
• Assist with preparation of customer partitions for annual OS upgrades.
• Support customer migrations related to CICS TS and OEM products.
• Collaborate with Disaster Recovery Services on DR plans.
