Job summary

Ensono, LP is seeking a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer – CICS to provide premium support for CICS TS and OEM software. The role requires hands-on z/Series experience, strong CICS TS knowledge, and the ability to work across multiple time zones with 24/7/365 coverage.

The candidate will install, tailor, and monitor CICS TS environments, assist in migration and disaster recovery activities, and adhere to Ensono standards while delivering quality service to clients nationwide.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
10+ years on the zSeries (mainframe) platform with hands-on installation and maintenance of products related to CICS TS and OEM product support.
Thorough knowledge of CICS TS capabilities, installation and tailoring, and related OEM products.
Strong knowledge of IBM’s SMP/E and its use.
Strong analytical skills and understanding of CICS TS concepts, configuration and tailoring.

Responsibilities

Fulfill customer service orders for mainframe z/OS customers related to CICS TS and OEM products.
Provide primary support for reported CICS TS problems and related OEM software.
Provide 24x7x365 support across multiple time zones.
Follow procedures for installing OEM software efficiently per Ensono standards.
