Ensono is seeking a Mainframe Systems Programmer – CICS to support our z/OS CICS TS environment and related OEM software for United States clients. The role emphasizes premium service delivery, installation, maintenance, and migration support across multiple time zones.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years on the zSeries mainframe, hands-on CICS TS experience, IBM SMP/E knowledge, and strong analytical and communication skills. Remote-friendly with a 24/7 support expectation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years on zSeries (mainframe) with CICS TS and OEM product support.
• Thorough knowledge of CICS TS concepts and tailoring.
• Experience with IBM SMP/E.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Team player capable of handling deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill CSOs for z/OS customers related to CICS TS.
• Provide primary support for CICS TS issues.
• Offer 24x7x365 support across time zones.
• Install OEM products per best practices and Ensono standards.
• Prepare customer partitions for annual OS upgrades.
• Support customer migrations for new transitions.
• Assist migration tasks with project managers to meet dates.
• Work with Disaster Recovery Services for DR plans.
• Follow ITSM change control procedures.
• Upgrade, maintain, and enhance CICS TS and related OEM products.
