Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Mainframe Systems Programmer to provide premium support for CICS TS and WAS on IBM z/OS. You will install, test, and maintain system software, assist with migrations, and coordinate disaster recovery efforts across time zones.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of zSeries mainframe experience, strong CICS TS/WAS knowledge, and SMP/E proficiency. Remote-friendly environment with flexible schedules and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years experience on the zSeries mainframe platform with hands-on experience installing and maintaining CICS TS / WAS and OEM products.
• Strong knowledge of CICS TS concepts, configuration and tailoring.
• Experience with IBM SMP/E.
• Analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill CSOs for mainframe z/OS customers related to CICS TS.
• Provide primary support for CICS TS / WAS and OEM software issues.
• Provide 24x7x365 support across multiple time zones.
• Install, test and upgrade OEM software products per Ensono standards.
• Prepare customer partitions for annual OS upgrades using checklists.
