Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Mainframe Systems Programmer to provide premium support for CICS TS on z/OS. You will troubleshoot, install, and tailor OEM software, and participate in 24x7x365 on-call support across time zones.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on zSeries experience, strong IBM SMP/E knowledge, and excellent communication. You will work both independently and with cross-functional teams to ensure successful migrations and disaster recovery readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience on the zSeries (mainframe) platform.
• Thorough knowledge of CICS TS concepts, configuration and tailoring.
• Experience with IBM SMP/E.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill CSOs for mainframe z/OS customers related to CICS TS and OEM products.
• Provide primary support for reported CICS TS problems.
• Offer 24x7x365 on-call support across multiple time zones.
• Follow procedures for installing OEM software efficiently.
• Assist with customer partitions ahead of annual OS upgrades.
• Support customer migrations and transitions for CICS TS.
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Adhere to ITSM change control processes.
