Job summary

Ensono seeks a senior mainframe specialist to provide premium support for CICS TS and related OEM software. You will handle customer service orders, troubleshoot issues, and assist migrations, across multiple time zones with a 24/7 availability requirement.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years on zSeries, strong CICS TS knowledge, SMP/E experience, and excellent communication. On-call, overtime, and weekend work are part of the Standard Working Hours at Ensono.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years on the zSeries mainframe with CICS TS and OEM product support.
• Strong knowledge of CICS TS concepts, configuration, and tailoring.
• Experience with IBM SMP/E and mainframe product installation/maintenance.
• Able to multi-task and work under deadlines and pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill CSOs for mainframe z/OS customers related to CICS TS.
• Provide primary support for reported CICS TS issues.
• Support 24/7 operations across multiple time zones.
• Install OEM products per best practices and Ensono standards.
• Collaborate across teams to prepare customer partitions for upgrades.
• Assist migration services for new customer transitions.
• Support disaster recovery planning and testing with DR services.
• Adhere to ITSM change control procedures and implement fixes.
