Job summary

Centene Corporation seeks a Change Enablement Lead to oversee daily operations of enterprise change processes, assess complex changes for risk and readiness, and ensure documentation and governance requirements are met. The role provides guidance to Change Managers and escalates policy decisions as needed.

The candidate will coordinate reviews, track service levels, and collaborate with incident/problem management to address change-related issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field and 5–7 years of related experience.
• Equivalent experience reflecting level of position.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational leadership for Change Enablement review queues and coordinate work.
• Monitor workload, aging, service levels and deadlines using ServiceNow data.
• Review complex or escalated production changes for risk, impact, readiness and recovery planning.
• Verify change records comply with policies, controls and governance for all change types.
• Collaborate with change owners to resolve incomplete information and ensure documentation.
• Serve as escalation point for policies, interpretation, and stakeholder questions.
• Escalate policy decisions or unresolved concerns to management.
• Coach, train, and support Change Managers and onboarding.
• Perform quality reviews to identify errors and coaching needs.
• Develop job aids, procedures, and training materials.
• Coordinate post-implementation reviews and track corrective actions.
• Partner with Incident/Problem Management to link changes to incidents and root cause analysis.
• Provide regular updates on work, risks, and capacity to leadership.
• Maintain governance evidence for audits and compliance.
• Lead or support Change Enablement initiatives and process improvements.
