Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector to perform advanced-level construction engineering inspection in the Cartersville, GA area. This lead role supervises inspectors and supports project administration, documentation, and coordination on transportation projects.

The candidate will conduct complex inspections, manage field personnel, and participate in meetings from concept to close-out, ensuring compliance with plans and LAP requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 4+ years of transportation inspection experience.
• Lead inspector experience and coordinating inspection personnel.
• GDOT certification tests and WECS/field concrete certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced-level construction engineering inspection for road and bridge projects.
• Conduct materials sampling, inspection, and testing to verify requirements.
• Serve as Lead Project Inspector and supervise lower-level inspectors.
• Monitor workmanship, plans, specifications, and contract compliance.
• Prepare project documentation and conduct contract administration duties.
• Participate in project meetings and assist with project closeout activities.
• Assist with administration of local let projects and LAP requirements.
• Review invoices and monitor project funding throughout each phase.
