Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Senior CEI Inspector to lead advanced inspection on roadway and bridge projects around Cartersville, GA.

You will supervise lower-level inspectors, perform complex field tests, and support contract administration with precise documentation. The role requires GDOT training/certifications, solid knowledge of highway construction materials, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years in transportation tech
• Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects
• Experience as lead inspector coordinating inspection personnel
• Pass GDOT inspection tests (Groups 1-3)
• GDOT WECS and Field Concrete Technician Certifications
• Knowledge of highway construction materials and plans

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced-level inspection on roadway and bridge construction
• Supervise lower-level inspectors and coordinate inspections
• Conduct materials sampling, testing, and verification
• Participate in project meetings and documentation
• Perform contract administration duties and field measurements
• Review invoicing and verify project funding usage
• Ensure compliance with LAP requirements and procedures
