Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Senior CEI Inspector to lead advanced inspection work on transportation projects in the Cartersville area.

You will supervise inspectors, conduct complex field evaluations, and support contract administration and documentation. The role requires inspection experience on roadway/bridge projects, strong communication skills, and eligibility for GDOT certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects.
• Experience serving as lead inspector and coordinating the work of inspection personnel.
• Ability to obtain required certifications (GDOT tests, WECS, and other listed items) in time frames as required.
• Proficient with field measurements, documentation, and project records.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced-level construction engineering inspection for roadway and bridge projects.
• Conduct materials sampling, inspection, and testing for compliance with plans and specs.
• Serve as Lead Project Inspector, supervising lower-level inspectors.
• Monitor processes, workmanship, and materials per contract requirements.
• Perform contract administration duties and prepare project documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and reviews as required.
• Provide project engineering support on transportation projects when assigned.
