Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector to perform advanced-level inspection services for transportation infrastructure projects in the Cartersville, GA area.

The role leads inspectors, conducts complex inspections, and supports contract administration and project documentation. The position requires four years of related experience, GDOT certifications, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Four years of progressive transportation technician experience with a State Highway Agency or consultant.
• Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects.
• Experience serving as a lead inspector and coordinating inspection personnel.
• Ability to obtain required certifications (GDOT WECS, field concrete technician, GSWCC 1a).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced-level construction engineering inspection for roadway and bridge projects.
• Conduct materials sampling, inspection, and testing to verify compliance with requirements.
• Lead project inspections and supervise lower-level inspectors.
• Perform contract administration duties including field measurements and documentation.
• Review invoices and monitor project funding and compliance.
