Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector to lead advanced construction inspection on transportation projects in the Cartersville, GA area. You will supervise inspectors, conduct complex inspections, and support contract administration and project documentation.

This role may include project engineering duties as needed. Applicants should have 4+ years of transportation inspection experience, lead-inspector capability, and relevant GDOT certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of progressive transportation technician experience.
• Non-Engineering/Construction Management degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Equivalent education, training, and related experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced-level construction engineering inspection for roadway and bridge projects.
• Conduct materials sampling, inspection, and testing for project requirements.
• Serve as Lead Project Inspector and supervise lower-level inspectors.
• Monitor construction processes for compliance with plans and specs.
• Perform contract administration duties and prepare project documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and reviews.
• Assist with project engineering duties on transportation projects.
• Attend coordination and close-out activities.
• Review invoices for accuracy and compliance.
