Job summary
Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector to perform advanced-level construction engineering inspection in the Atlanta area.
The role leads inspection teams, conducts complex evaluations, and supports project documentation and contract administration throughout transportation projects. The position requires 4+ years of inspection experience, GDOT training, and strong knowledge of highway construction practices.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of progressive transportation technician experience.
- Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects.
- Experience leading inspection personnel and coordinating the team.
- GDOT certification tests and WECS knowledge.
- Ability to read and explain plans, specs, and QA procedures.
- Proficiency with field documentation and project records.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced-level construction engineering inspection on roadway and bridge projects.
- Conduct materials sampling, inspection, and testing for compliance.
- Lead project inspections and supervise lower-level inspectors.
- Manage field measurements and prepare project documentation for claims and pay items.
- Monitor quality, safety, and compliance with contract requirements.
- Participate in project meetings and coordination activities.
- Assist with project administration and locally administered projects.
