Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector to lead inspection teams on transportation projects in the Cartersville area.

The role demands advanced testing, coordination of inspection staff, and rigorous documentation to ensure compliance with plans and contracts. The candidate should have road and bridge inspection experience, GDOT certification readiness, and strong communication skills for field and office duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with four years of progressive transportation technician experience; or an equivalent combination.
• Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects.
• Experience serving as a lead inspector and coordinating inspection personnel.
• GDOT certifications listed below must be obtained within specified time frames.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced-level construction engineering inspection for roadway and bridge projects.
• Conduct materials sampling, inspection, and testing to verify compliance with project requirements.
• Serve as Lead Project Inspector for independent and complex inspections of roadway and structure construction activities.
• Supervise lower-level inspectors and provide guidance on inspection assignments.
• Monitor construction processes to ensure compliance with plans and contract requirements.
• Participate in project meetings and assist with contract administration and documentation.
