Job summary
Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector to perform advanced-level construction engineering inspection on transportation projects in the Cartersville, GA area.
The role leads inspection teams, supervises lower-level inspectors, and supports contract administration and project documentation. The candidate will conduct complex inspections, review plans and specifications, and participate in project meetings.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of transportation inspection experience.
- Alternative: non-engineering/construction management degree with 4+ years of experience.
- Equivalent education or training accepted.
- Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects.
- Experience leading inspection teams and coordinating inspectors.
- Ability to pass GDOT inspection training tests and certifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced-level construction engineering inspection for roadway and bridge projects.
- Lead and supervise lower-level inspectors and coordinate inspections.
- Conduct materials sampling, inspection, and testing for plan compliance.
- Perform contract administration duties including field measurements and documentation.
- Attend project meetings and assist with project close-out activities.
