Job summary
CGS Federal in the United States seeks an experienced Business Analyst to support government projects within the Information Technology department. The analyst will partner with internal business owners and external partners to define functional requirements and translate them into actionable documentation and system specifications.
Responsibilities include creating briefings, process maps, and operations concepts, while driving service delivery improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain government security clearance.
- 7+ years in business/ systems analysis or related roles.
- Experience with phase-based and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience with Jira or other Agile tools.
Responsibilities
- Document and analyze business and functional requirements for translation into process maps and technical specs.
- Develop documentation including system diagrams, concepts of operations, and status reports.
- Create high-level briefings and communications for customers and executives.
- Identify and implement opportunities for service delivery improvements and new technology.
- Manage client interaction and cross‑team dependencies; coordinate collaboration.
