CGS Federal seeks an experienced Business Analyst in Information Technology to collaborate with internal and external partners, define functional requirements, and translate them into actionable documentation and system specifications.

The role emphasizes strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to work both in teams and independently within government and contractor environments. A security-clearance mindset and federal project familiarity are valuable.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or design of information systems programs and processes.
• Experience with phase-based and Agile delivery methods.
• Experience with Jira or other Agile tools.
• Ability to translate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
• Able to work well in team and independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with government projects and policy/procedures teams.
• Experience interacting with Senior Leadership and Government Executives.

Responsabilités

• Document and analyze business and functional requirements for translation into process maps and system requirements.
• Develop documentation including system diagrams, concepts of operations, and monthly status reports.
• Create high-level briefings and communications for customers, management, and executives.
• Identify and implement opportunities for service delivery improvements and new technology.
• Independently gather information from subject matter experts to write manuals, specs, and process docs.
• Develop understanding of Microsoft and Atlassian products to translate product information into clear content.
• Produce content in multiple media ensuring consistent, cohesive voice across documentation.
• Perform risk management and escalate risks and issues as needed.
• Support continuous improvement by recommending product, service, and process improvements.
• Manage client interactions and set expectations for team efforts.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and collaboration.
• Seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
