CGS Federal is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Information Technology department. In this role you will partner with government and internal teams to define functional requirements, translate them into process maps and system specs, and develop high-quality documentation and briefs for executives and stakeholders.

You will drive improvement initiatives, manage client expectations, and collaborate across teams to deliver effective solutions for federal programs.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years in business or systems analysis and related processes.
• Experience with phase-based and Agile delivery methods.
• Experience with Jira or other Agile tools; strong writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex concepts for technical and non-technical users.
• Clear communication with Senior Leadership and government staff.

• Document and analyze business and functional requirements for process maps and system specs.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and operating diagrams.
• Create briefings and communications for customers and executives.
• Identify opportunities for service delivery improvements and new tech adoption.
• Gather information from subject matter experts to write manuals and specs.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and manage client expectations.
