Job summary

CGS (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Information Technology department. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to capture opportunities, define functional requirements, and translate them into actionable system specifications.

You will develop documentation, briefings, and training materials, and support continuous improvement across government projects, balancing technical detail with clear, accessible content for leadership and end users.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 7+ years of experience in business analysis or related fields
• Experience with phase-based and Agile delivery methods
• Experience with Jira or other Agile tools
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Document and analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into process maps and system requirements.
• Develop documentation including architecture diagrams, concepts of operations, and status reports.
• Create high-level briefings and communications for customers, management and executives.
• Identify opportunities for service delivery improvement and new technology implementation.
• Manage client interactions and set expectations for team delivery.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and collaboration.
• Develop content across media forms with a consistent voice across documentation.
