Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking experienced Business Analysts to partner with a large federal agency within the Information Technology department. You will define functional requirements and translate them into process maps and technical specs, working with government stakeholders and CGS teams.

The role emphasizes creating comprehensive documentation, briefings for executives, and opportunities to improve services and adopt new technologies.

Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Must be able to obtain Government security clearance.
7+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, and/or design of information systems programs.
Experience with phase-based and Agile delivery methods.
Experience with Jira or other Agile tools.
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.

Responsibilities

Document and analyze business and functional requirements to translate into process maps and technical system requirements.
Develop documentation including system diagrams, operations concepts, and status reports.
Create briefings and communications for customers, management, and executives.
Identify opportunities for service delivery improvement and new technology implementations.
Gather information from subject matter experts to write manuals and specifications.
Translate product information into clear, engaging content using Microsoft and Atlassian products.
