Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across Mobile Financial Services in North America. The role focuses on creating opportunities, opening new accounts, and closing complex, high-value deals, reporting to the MFS Head of Market Development – Americas.

You will build a robust pipeline, engage with C-level stakeholders, and collaborate with product, pre-sales, and delivery teams to position Ericsson as a strategic partner in digital financial

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of enterprise sales in mobile fintech or payments
• Experience selling Mobile Financial Services and understanding digital payments
• Proven new business acquisition and revenue growth in outbound sales
• Proven success closing complex, high-value deals
• Ability to open new accounts leveraging an established network
• Experience selling to financial institutions or fintech with regulatory knowledge
• Ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders
• Strong deal structuring, pricing, and negotiation skills
• Translate technical solutions into clear business outcomes
• Multicultural and cross-functional collaboration
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business across USA target markets and segments
• Drive consultative sales and value-led propositions
• Build and manage a self-sourced pipeline
• Lead end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting to close
• Drive large, multi-million-dollar platform or services deals
• Develop business cases and commercial proposals
• Maintain relationships with C-level stakeholders
• Leverage Ericsson processes to improve deal velocity
• Collaborate with product, pre-sales, delivery, legal, finance
• Represent Ericsson at industry events and client engagements
• Maintain pipeline management and CRM accuracy
• Align activities with DBR framework
• Build and activate ecosystem partnerships
