Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience in BESS, renewables, or power systems.
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a SME for BESS engineering scopes, providing guidance and technical direction to project teams.
• Lead the design and engineering of battery energy storage systems (BESS), ensuring compliance with contracts, utilities, and AHJ requirements.
• Review feasibility studies, site assessments, and system sizing analyses to recommend optimal BESS configurations and future augmentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to design, procure, install, and commission BESS systems.
• Provide engineering support during construction, including field issue resolution and design clarifications.
