Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a BESS Engineer III to design, develop, implement and optimize battery energy storage projects. This role provides technical direction and oversight for successful delivery while meeting performance, reliability and safety requirements.

This position is fully remote within the United States; location specifics will be discussed in the interview process. Travel to support project execution may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience focused on BESS, renewables, or power systems.
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for BESS engineering scopes and provide guidance to project teams.
• Lead design and engineering of BESS, ensuring compliance with contracts and standards.
• Review feasibility studies and site assessments to recommend configurations.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Stay current with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
