Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Associate to join the IT & Merger Integration team, delivering large, complex engagements for private equity clients and portfolio companies. You will lead pre-acquisition IT diligence, merger integration, and day-one planning while driving performance improvements in ERP, back-office operations, and supply chain.

We value strong writing, analytical, and collaboration skills, with at least 3–6 years in consulting or related roles and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional consulting or relevant industry experience, with a minimum of three years specializing in systems implementations, merger integration, business transformation, and change management.
• Proven writing skills with a desire to produce polished client-facing documents.
• Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping and quantitative analysis.

Responsibilities

• Pre-acquisition IT diligence assignments focused on ERP, WMS, CRM, IT infrastructure, enterprise architecture, software lifecycle, and budgeting.
• Merger integration and carve-out execution.
• Day-1 and 100-day planning and execution – driving performance improvement in ERP, back office, supply chain, and BI reporting integration.
• Ensuring quality deliverables and effectively managing day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.
