Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Senior Associate for IT & Merger Integration to help private equity clients and their portfolio companies design and implement complex technology and business transformation programs.

You will lead IT diligence, merger integration, and carve-out initiatives while coordinating Day-1/Day-100 planning to drive ERP and supply‑chain improvements. Strong writing, analytical, and client‑facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional consulting or related industry experience, with a minimum of three years specializing in systems implementations, merger integration, and change management.
• Deep functional expertise in IT pre-acquisition diligence, IT merger integration and carve-out, ERP, and transformation programs.
• Proven writing skills with a desire to produce polished client-facing documents.
• Bachelor’s degree and willingness to travel at least 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT pre-acquisition diligence assignments focused on ERP, WMS, CRM, IT infrastructure and enterprise architecture.
• Manage merger-integration and carve-out execution for portfolio companies.
• Drive Day-1 and Day-100 planning and execution to boost ERP, back office, supply chain, and BI/reporting integration.
• Ensure quality deliverables and effectively manage day-to-day client relationships.
