Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is expanding its Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) – Information Technology & Merger Integration team. We seek a Senior Associate to deliver IT diligence, integration, and post‑acquisition programs across portfolio companies, including ERP, WMS, CRM, and infrastructure initiatives.

You will contribute to Day‑1/Day‑100 planning, drive cost efficiency, and lead client-facing deliverables while traveling up to 75% as required.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional consulting or relevant industry experience.
• Minimum of three years specializing in systems implementations, merger integration, business transformation, and change management.
• Deep functional expertise in IT pre-acquisition diligence, IT merger integration, or ERP transformation.
• Proven writing skills for polished client-facing documents.
• Excellent fact gathering and analytical skills including business process mapping and quantitative analysis.
• Experience designing and supervising change/communications strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Willingness to travel at least 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver large, complex client engagements identifying and implementing IT solutions for PE clients and their portfolio companies.
• Conduct pre-acquisition IT diligence focusing on ERP, WMS, CRM, IT infrastructure, architecture, and budgeting.
• Execute merger integrations and carve-outs.
• Plan Day-1 and Day-100 actions, driving ERP, back office, supply chain, BI and reporting integration.
• Manage day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.
