Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Associate in IT & Merger Integration to lead large, complex engagements for private equity clients and their portfolio companies. You will conduct pre-acquisition IT diligence, drive IT merger integration and carve‑out activities, and oversee Day‑1 and Day‑100 planning to boost ERP, back office, and supply chain performance.

The role requires 3–6 years in consulting or relevant industry, deep expertise in IT transformation, and up to 75% travel.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional consulting or relevant industry experience, with a minimum of three years specializing in systems implementations, merger integration, business transformation, and change management.
• Deep functional expertise in IT pre-acquisition diligence, IT merger integration and carve-out, and transformation program management.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Willingness to travel at least 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre‑acquisition IT diligence focusing on ERP, WMS, CRM, IT infrastructure and enterprise architecture.
• Drive merger‑integration and carve‑out execution for portfolio companies.
• Manage Day‑1 and Day‑100 planning and execution to improve ERP, back office, supply chain, and BI/reporting.
• Ensure quality deliverables and maintain strong client relationships.
