Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Android Developer to lead design, development, and maintenance of core Android applications. You will collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable, high-performance user experiences.

Mentor junior engineers and guide architectural decisions. The role offers W2 and corp-to-corp options with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k with matching, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• 5+ to 8+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Android SDK and modern UI frameworks (Jetpack Compose, Material Design).

Responsibilities

• Design & Build: Develop advanced, resilient Android apps from scratch or improve large-scale codebases.
• Architecture: Own MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture and SOLID principles.
• API Integration: Connect to RESTful APIs, JSON, WebSockets, and backend services.
• Optimization & Quality: Profile performance, fix memory leaks, reduce crashes, and write tests (JUnit, Espresso).
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Participate in Agile ceremonies, review code, mentor others.
• CI/CD & Deployment: Manage Git workflows, contribute to CI/CD, and support Google Play releases.
