Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Senior Android Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of core Android applications. This remote contract role collaborates with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable, high-performance experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ to 8+ years of professional mobile development experience focused on Android.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java with strong knowledge of Android SDK and tooling.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design & Build: Develop advanced Android apps and enhance large codebases.
• Architecture: Own MVVM/MVP/Clean Architecture and SOLID principles.
• API Integration: Connect to RESTful APIs, JSON, and backend services.
• Optimization & Quality: Profile performance, fix memory leaks, reduce crashes, write tests.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Participate in Agile ceremonies and mentor teammates.
• CI/CD & Deployment: Manage Git workflows and contribute to CI/CD and Play Store releases.
