The role focuses on journal entries, reconciliations, audits, and enhancing reporting via AI-enabled tools. Requires 3–4 years in accounting, a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, CPA preferred, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
3-4 years of accounting experience, public/private mix preferred.
CPA preferred.
Experience with GAAP and financial reporting.
Experience leveraging automation or AI tools for processes.
Strong Excel skills and financial statement analysis.
Comfort with remote work and ambiguity.

Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries, analyses and account reconciliations.
Maintain and improve month-end close processes and reconciliations.
Ensure GAAP compliance.
Identify opportunities to automate and apply AI tools to improve close efficiency.
Assist with annual financial statement audits.
Analyze financial statements and GL accounts for variances.
Prepare operational and ad hoc reporting for assigned areas.
Support accounting leadership as needed.
