Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 3–4 years of experience in accounting (public/private mix).
• CPA preferred.
• Experience with complex areas: revenue recognition, inventory, stock-based compensation, debt/equity financing, business combinations or investments.
• Experience leveraging automation or AI tools to improve accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, analyses and account reconciliations.
• Help maintain and improve month-end close processes, including monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI-enabled tools, and process improvements to reduce manual work and accelerate the close.
• Respond to information requests and assist with the annual financial statement audit.
• Analyze financial statements and GL accounts to ensure monthly, quarterly and annual fluctuations are in line with expectations and documented.
• Prepare operational and ad hoc reporting for additional analysis associated with financial statement areas assigned.
• Assist accounting leadership as needed.
