Job summary

StorQuest Self Storage is seeking an Assistant Manager to act as the first-line representative in the Store Manager’s absence. The role may be full or part-time and may be scheduled across multiple sites to support operations.

You will handle rental processes, payments, merchandise sales, and insurance offerings while ensuring excellent guest experiences. Responsibilities include store inspections, maintaining a clean facility, basic maintenance, and cash handling with a focus on customer

Qualifications

• Preferred 1+ years in Customer Service/Sales experience
• Tech Savvy is a plus
• Experience in Cash Handling required
• Must be available on weekends
• A huge passion for guest service and sales
• The ability to be a part of a team to help support and motivate as needed to ensure a collaborative and positive work environment
• The mentality that there are no spare customers, every experience is as valuable as the next
• A positive, outgoing personality
• An insatiable appetite to learn new things
• Strong accountability combined with strong work ethic and enthusiasm for teamwork

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the rental process including: converting a sale, taking payments, selling merchandise, offering insurance
• Assist customers with truck rentals at some locations
• Participate in collecting past-due accounts
• Inspect stores daily and maintain an impeccable facility
• Perform minor maintenance and custodial duties; clean vacated units on time
• Contact vendors for routine maintenance repairs
• Accurately handling cash, balancing receipts, posting payments and processing bank deposits
