Jackson Hewitt is seeking a Seasonal Assistant District Manager to lead multiple retail tax locations. You will recruit, train, and supervise seasonal staff, drive district performance, and collaborate with the District Manager to maximize revenue and profitability.

You’ll oversee operations, ensure standards, and engage with property managers while building strong client relationships and brand awareness during the busy tax season.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; business/management or tax background preferred.
• 2 years+ in management or supervisory roles required.
• Strong leadership, recruitment, and client service skills.
• Tax knowledge preferred; able to work evenings/weekends during peak season.
• Proficiency with Dayforce or HRIS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-unit retail locations in district operations to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Oversee recruitment, interviews, and tax education for seasonal staff.
• Monitor performance, coordinate training, and address employee relations issues.
• Ensure locations meet standards for setup, tech, and facilities; manage relationships with landlords.
• Drive client retention, attract new clients, and build positive brand awareness.
• Address client questions and resolve disputes; guide staff through complex problems.
• Track GL & P&L, and meet district revenue, cash control, and tax return goals.
